The Porsche 911 Turbo was presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show in October 1974. The new sports car stood out with its body design inspired by racing cars and the 3-liter boxer engine equipped with an exhaust gas turbocharger. Although the automotive industry had not yet recovered from the oil crisis at that time, the car received a positive review.

Despite the high engine output offered by the 911 Turbo 3.0, many customers wanted an even more powerful 911 sports car. Porsche responded and developed a more powerful car in 1977 based on the first Turbo. Called the 911 Turbo 3.3, the new car produced 221 kW (300 hp) at 5500 rpm. This was achieved by increasing the displacement from three to 3.3 liters and an intercooler.

This 930 Turbo had been in the family ownership since 1989. It is painted in the special color Minerva blue metallic (this color was actually only available until 1980). After the death of its first owner the car was passed to his son, who kept the Porsche over a decade in his garage. The current owner decided to paint the car regardless to cost in an absolute top quality. The interior presents itself in “as new” condition. The car comes with an on-board folder. Technically the car has been completely overhauled, so only the first set of tires needs to be considered for a drive. (new tires on request)
